National Ghostwriters Week - March 1-7, 2012
What is a ghostwriter? A ghostwriter is a person who writes for someone else, who is the named author of the work. A ghostwriter does the work and gets paid for the work, but isn't the named author of the book. A ghostwriter's job is there for a number of reasons: a person doesn't have the time to assemble notes themselves into a book or article, a person has a great idea for a book but can't formulate the ideas into one, because a person loves to write but prefers to keep his or her name out of the limelight and create projects from others' prompts.
